ELEGANZA came to fruition nearly three decades ago with the purpose of making a positive impact on the entertainment scene in the Harvard community. We, however, did not stop at the Harvard community. Since its founding, Eleganza has routinely donated all of its proceeds to charities in the local Boston area. We partner with organizations that support youth and marginalized groups in order to support others to reach their dreams and potential.

 

For the 2021 show, in the light of the tremendous inequities raised by the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided to expand our outreach to a national level. From a fashion perspective, we focused on highlighting BIPOC designers to elevate underrepresented voices in the fashion and beauty space. We additionally donated proceeds from the show to  a collection of organizations that are working towards justice, supporting people of color, and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community.
